Residents and visitors alike flock to the Palm Desert Civic Center Park every Thursday evening in May and October for the City's free Concerts in the Park. Held on the terraced lawn of the Civic Center Park Amphitheater, music lovers can look forward to diverse musical offerings that may range from reggae to R&B, and from country to indie.
Music lovers are encouraged to bring a blanket or a chair with them in order to sit back, relax and enjoy live music under the stars. Food trucks are on hand to offer up mobile culinary creations, or concertgoers can bring a picnic along to enjoy with the show. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited in the park.
The next concerts will be held in October 2017, starting at 6pm each week. These are the scheduled performers:
- October 5: The Long Run (Eagles Tribute band)
- October 12: The Dustbowl Revival
- October 19: Yachty by Nature
- October 26: AMFM
For additional details on the performers, please refer to the individual calendar listings found in the Events section of this website.
