Rockin' the Holiday Musical Review

Ring in the season with a series of live concerts featuring Broadway talent singing and dancing to classic holiday tunes with a rock n’ roll twist. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning Saturday, November 29 through Sunday, December 28, the elaborate performance, produced by Live It Up Productions, will take place at the resort’s JW Pavilion. A cocktail reception at 7pm precedes the Friday and Saturday shows at 8pm. Remembering Sheila Brown-The Last Originals

The McCallum Theatre's Annual Gala brings you two great entertainers! In addition to musicals, McDonald has triumphed in Shakespeare (Twelfth Night, Henry IV) and won TV fame in Private Practice. She will be accompanied by a sixty-piece orchestra conducted by Emmy and Grammy Award Winner Richard Kaufman. Martin Short is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, singer, voice actor and producer. He is best known for his comedy work, particularly on the TV programs SCTV and Saturday Night Live. He starred in such comedic films as Three Amigos (1986), Innerspace (1987) and Father of the Bride (1991). He won the Tony Award for the 1999 Broadway revival of Little Me.

Come have FUN at the Sandpiper, originally advertised as “the smartest address in the desert” with an emphasis on “carefree living” and experience a master’s planned community and celebration party. Sandpiper, built in eleven phases over a twelve-year period (1958-69), offers 306 homes on a fifty-five acre complex, and remains largely unchanged. See the varying home floor plans and experience the site lines to the pool, plantings, and mountain views that resulted in Krisel receiving a landscaping award of merit for this project. Bring your camera and see why the Sandpiper was a favorite of photographer Julius Shulman. This tour will include homes never before included on prior tours at Sandpiper, as well as homes built in 1965 which recently became the first designated historic neighborhood in Palm Desert. Tours depart at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM. The reception will be from 4 PM – 7 PM at the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert, located next to the Sandpiper.
