CVRep presents Janene Lovullo with Musical Director Christopher Marlowe in “Too Marvelous For Words, Celebrating Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen.” As a musical team their performances of An Evening with Janene Lovullo and Christopher Marloweand You’re My World in Palm Springs, Los Angeles and New York earned them wide appeal. Janene has performed in numerous musical theater productions regionally, on Broadway and in National Tours. Some of her credits include Maria in West Side Story(Downey Civic Light Opera at the Shrine), The Pirates of Penzance at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles, the 1st National Tour (Kate) and the Broadway company as understudy to Maureen McGovern. Ms. Luvollo was in the hit musical CATS on Broadway and as Grisabella in the first National Tour. She has also appeared in the Broadway and Los Angeles productions of Les Miserables. Janene recorded her first solo CD “This Moment” and her second “Broadway Intimate” both musically directed by Christopher at Capital Records.
