Roll out the red carpet, because Palm Springs is receiving the Hollywood treatment for the 26th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival from January 5-16, 2017.
This week and a half-long film festival is a highly anticipated affair that features more than 200 films from 70 countries and countless genres to choose from. The festival's programmers have a knack for being able to anticipate the top Academy Award contenders in the Best Foreign Language Film category before they are announced, and adding them into the schedule. And with special events, receptions and a Black Tie Awards Gala, this star-studded occasion is an absolute can’t-miss event for both true cinema lovers and casual moviegoers alike.
Attending the Event
The 2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival will be held at cinema venues throughout Palm Springs, with the Black Tie Awards Gala being held the Palm Springs Convention Center. Festival passes and packages go on sale months in advance, but individual tickets go on sale to the general public starting in late December.
The full schedule of events and movie screenings will be posted on the Film Festival website in December, but for more information about the event in the meantime, and to purchase tickets when they go on sale, visit the Palm Springs International Film Festival website.
