Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate our great nation this Fourth of July by bringing the entire family down to Palm Desert's Civic Center Park for a good old-fashioned Independence Day fireworks celebration.
Grab a blanket or chair to sit on, and pack a picnic dinner to enjoy or enjoy one of the many food vendors before the festivities start. The evening kicks off on a patriotic note at 7:15 with the National Anthem, followed by a concert at 7:30pm. At 9pm, the nighttime sky lights up with a spectacular 20-minute-long fireworks show accompanied by patriotic and contemporary music.
This event is open to all ages, so bring the entire family for a night of fun, fireworks and festivities.
Attending the Event
Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the event. Please note that alcoholic beverages, smoking, and portable barbecues are prohibited from the event. Private fireworks are illegal in the Civic Center Park and throughout the City of Palm Desert. Guests may bring flashlights, and they are recommended for safety when exiting the park.
There is plenty of parking around the Civic Center Park for folks arriving early, but if you wish to opt for more convenient parking, a free air-conditioned shuttle service begins at 6 p.m. and runs throughout the evening from the Gardens on El Paseo – on the lower level of the San Pablo side – to the festivities.
