Jacqueline Cochran Air Show


Grab the family, and jet on over to the 8th Annual Jacqueline Cochran Air Show on Saturday, November 5, 2011 to experience all of the thrills, chills and excitement of this live event. Watch as the United States Air Force performs impressive fighter jet demonstrations. Marvel as aerobatic stunt pilots take to the air to conduct nail-biting shows from dizzying heights. And delight in the sight of 22 professional skydivers spiraling over the crowd with colorful smoke, streamers and banners.

While you’re there, be sure to dig in to fantastic food, browse though vintage aircraft on display and visit the Kids’ Zone for face painting, balloon artists, arts and crafts and more.

This beloved annual event is named after Jacqueline Cochran, one of the most prominent aviators of the 20th century who served as director of Women’s Flying Training in World War II, became the first woman pilot to break the sound barrier, and held more records than any other pilot in history. Come out to celebrate her legacy, and enjoy a day full of fun for the whole family.

Attending the Event

This spectacular event will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport.
