Set amid towering native pines and stately oaks on the Idyllwild Arts Campus, the Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines Festival is a full weekend of music, food and fun for a good cause.
Now entering its 20th year in 2013, Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines was originally created by two music lovers who wanted to promote Jazz as an art form while raising money for scholarships to the Idyllwild Jazz Arts Academy and Summer Program.
Every year the festival kicks off with the Patron’s Dinner Dance – reserved for special ticketholders only – that includes an enjoyable evening filled with food, fun, fine wine and music. There’s also a Saturday Night After Hours Jazz and Jambalaya Dinner for select guests in addition to the many other event festivities.
This event is family-friendly, so bring the whole gang out for an entire weekend of fun and smooth jazz as famous musicians and up-and-coming artists alike take to the stage to show off their talents.
This year's festival will be held on August 17-18, with headliner to be announced. For more information on other artists or purchasing tickets, visit the official Idyllwild Jazz in the Pine website to read all about 2013’s grand event.
