Humana Challenge

Humana, the new title sponsor, and the William J. Clinton Foundation joined forces for the first time three years ago at the Humana Challenge, kicking off an eight-year partnership with the PGA tour. Formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic, the Humana Challenge now follows a traditional four-day tournament schedule.

Since its introduction in 1960 as the Palm Springs Golf Classic, the tournament has generated more than $52 million for charity and literally funded the construction of the Eisenhower Medical Center, thanks in large part to Bob Hope becoming involved as tournament host in 1965.

Attending the Event

The Humana Challenge will be held January 19-25, 2015 at three courses: the La Quinta Country Club, Nicklaus Private at PGA WEST and the host course, the Palmer Private at PGA WEST.

Tickets start at just $30 for a Daily Gallery Pass (or $20 for seniors), which includes grounds access to all three courses for one day. The event also allows up to two children under the age of 15 into the tournament for free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
