Rock out at the Coachella Valley Music Festival

From hip hop to rock to funk to jazz, nearly every music genre is represented at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Since 1999, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has drawn massive crowds to the Empire Polo Field in Indio, and has grown to become one of the country’s most renowned music events. With a strong focus on sustainability, concert-goers are encouraged to carpool, conserve water and recycle, and camping on the grounds has become a very popular option as well.

In 2012, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will expand to two "identical" three-day weekends--take place from April 13-15, and April 20-22. More than 130 musical acts will perform, with headliners to be announced in January. In addition, there will be light shows, public art displays and tents where food and beverages will be sold.

Attending the Event

Tickets are available as a three-day Festival Pack. Surrounding hotels sell out quickly during the festival, so the earlier you book the better. Visit the official Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival website for more information including how to purchase tickets, and information on camping at the festival.
