HITS Coachella Desert Circuit Horse Show – The HITS Coachella Desert Circuit is an eight-week hunter/jumper horse show running from January 15-March 17, 2019, with one "off" week in mid-February. The Desert Circuit has been a mainstay of West Coast competition for the past two decades. It culminates with the AIG $1 Million Grand Prix, the richest prize in American show jumping. Palm Springs Modernism Week – Palm Springs Modernism Week celebrates midcentury modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture. This exciting festival takes place from February 14-24, 2019 in Palm Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley. Modernism Week features more than 250 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, and more.
Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival – The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is a tradition for families, residents and visitors to the Coachella Valley. Each year the Festival’s date, citrus and community-featured exhibits continue to grow. Carnival rides, food and entertainment are all part of the nine-day event scheduled for February 15-24, 2019. La Quinta Arts Festival – The La Quinta Arts Festival is a favorite of visitors to the Coachella Valley and is nationally recognized by national publications as one of the top art festivals in the nation. Scheduled for March 7-10, 2019.
BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament – The BNP Paribas Open, already the fifth most attended tournament after the Grand Slam tournaments, continues to grow and break all attendance records as the facilities at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden are expanded. ANA Inspiration – With new sponsor All Nippon Airways (ANA), there's a new spirit behind the LPGA Tour's swing through the desert and its first "major" of the year. The ANA Inspiration retains all of what has made it a highly anticipated event in the past--such as the champion's leap into Poppie's Pond--and adds its own new style and flair. The tournament is scheduled to return April 3-7, 2019.
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is held over two consecutive three-day weekends, April 12-14 and 19-21 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California and features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop and electronic dance music, plus art installations and sculptures. Stagecoach Music Festival – Stagecoach is a three-day annual Country Music Festival held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio that highlights the biggest names in the industry along with roots, rock and Americana artists. Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival – The Palm Springs Cultural Center will present the 20th Anniversary edition of the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival from May 9-12, 2019. Indio International Tamale Festival – It all started in 1992, and the rich heritage of the tamale and continued community support has created the Festival’s tremendous success.
