HITS Coachella Desert Circuit Horse Show – The HITS Coachella Desert Circuit is an eight-week hunter/jumper horse show running from January 16-March 18, 2018, with one "off" week in mid-February. The Desert Circuit has been a mainstay of West Coast competition for the past two decades. It culminates with the AIG $1 Million Grand Prix, the richest prize in American show jumping. Palm Springs Modernism Week – Palm Springs Modernism Week celebrates midcentury modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture. This exciting festival takes place from February 15-25, 2018 in Palm Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley. Modernism Week features more than 250 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, and more.
Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival – The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is a tradition for families, residents and visitors to the Coachella Valley. Each year the Festival’s date, citrus and community-featured exhibits continue to grow. Carnival rides, food and entertainment are all part of the nine-day event scheduled for February 16-25, 2018. La Quinta Arts Festival – The La Quinta Arts Festival is a favorite of visitors to the Coachella Valley and is nationally recognized by national publications as one of the top art festivals in the nation. Scheduled for March 1-4, 2018.
BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament – The BNP Paribas Open, already the fifth most attended tournament after the Grand Slam tournaments, continues to grow and break all attendance records as the facilities at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden are expanded. Fashion Week El Paseo – Palm Desert's annual Fashion Week El Paseo™ unfolds March 17-24, 2018 under the Runway Tent on the top deck of The Gardens on El Paseo. Fashion Week El Paseo™ showcases the newest collections by top designers as well as fresh ideas by emerging designers. In addition to runway shows, there are a myriad of in-store events up and down El Paseo, our celebrated fashion district. ANA Inspiration – With new sponsor All Nippon Airways (ANA), there's a new spirit behind the LPGA Tour's swing through the desert and its first "major" of the year. The ANA Inspiration retains all of what has made it a highly anticipated event in the past--such as the champion's leap into Poppie's Pond--and adds its own new style and flair. The tournament returns in late March 2018.
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is held over two consecutive three-day weekends, April 13-15 and 20-23 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California and features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop and electronic dance music, plus art installations and sculptures. Stagecoach Music Festival – Stagecoach is a three-day annual Country Music Festival held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio that highlights the biggest names in the industry along with roots, rock and Americana artists. Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival – The Palm Springs Cultural Center will once again present the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival in May 2018. Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week – Savor the flavor of Palm Desert’s finest restaurants during during Palm Springs Desert Resorts Restaurant Week, a 10-day celebration of local cuisine held in early June 2018. Idyllwild Jazz Festival – Jazz in the Pines supports excellence with talented artists and is a fundraiser for the Idyllwild Arts Academy & Summer Program. Indio International Tamale Festival – It all started in 1992, and the rich heritage of the tamale and continued community support has created the Festival’s tremendous success.
