Book a Free Guided Art Tour

The City of Palm Desert offers free guided tours of its public art collection on the second Saturday of each month (with the exception of July and August) at 10:00 a.m. Each month a different portion of the City's outdoor art collection is highlighted in one of three tours; the artwork at the Palm Desert Public Library, in the Civic Center Park and of the El Paseo Invitational Exhibition. Reservations are not required. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a bottle of water, and come prepared for a one-hour walking tour. Visit Events to find out where this month's tour will be held.

If you cannot make the Saturday tour, groups of four or more can schedule their own private tours. The group can select from any of the three tours. Tours generally last one hour, however, they can be tailored to the specific needs of the group.

You are also welcome to take a self-guided tour of the Civic Center Park, El Paseo Invitational Exhibition, Fred Waring Corridor, or The City or our esteemed Art & Architecture collection.
