In his work the artist, Greg Reiche explores the natural world through the use of stone and glass. He also examines themes of balance, tension, confinement, and duality. His inspiration is found in the beauty and complexities of the interaction between humanity and the natural world. He hopes that his work brings a sense of peace and joy to those who view it.

About the artist:
Greg Reiche was born in 1957 and currently lives and works in Placitas, New Mexico. He has a B.A. in Art and Art History from the University of New Mexico. He has been a professional artist since 1975, working in a variety of mediums including jewelry design and fabrication, furniture design and fabrication, gallery ownership, metal glass and stone sculpture, as well as a public artist working on site specific and infrastructure design projects. His recent public art commissions and purchases include work for the City of Albuquerque and New Mexico Department of Transportation, City of Edmond, Oklahoma; City of Longmont, Colorado; and the City of Denver, Colorado; among others.
