McCallum Theatre’s Open Call 2009

The McCallum Theatre Institute presents its 11th annual Open Call Talent Competition on Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25, at the Theatre.
Hosted by Jim (Fitz) and Wendy Fitzgerald, this year’s Open Call will showcase 61 performers in 26 acts. Finalists will appear on stage in three performances with the final performance being judged and cash prizes awarded for second place, audience favorite, and grand prize.
Tickets usually sell out for this family-friendly audience favorite so purchase yours soon. Performances take place on Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $40, with a special ticket price of $7 for children under 12 for the first two performances.
Friday evening and Saturday afternoon audience members will participate by voting. The combined audience vote carries the weight of one judge in Saturday evening’s final performance, when the winners will be announced.
