Additionally, the chorus performs regularly for a variety of large-scale and community events including: Andy Warhol exhibit at Palm Springs Art Museum, La Quinta Arts Festival, Indio Woman’s Club, Cathedral City LGBT Days, Halloween Palm Springs, Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast, Sunday Sounds at Palm Desert Community Center and recently performed in a joint concert with the Tucson and Phoenix choruses. In November 2016, PSGMC was recognized as Organization of the Year by Greater Palm Springs Pride. In 2018, the Chorus was given the recognition by Mayor Robert Moon as the Official Gay Men’s Chorus of the City of Palm Springs and April 8 was declared Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus Day. The PSGMC is under the Artistic Direction of Douglas Wilson with Principal Accompanist Joel Baker. Visit www.PSGMC.com.
