Old School Freestyle Fest

Spotlight 29 Casino is proud to present Old School Freestyle Fest featuring an incredible lineup of 10 hit-making artists on Saturday, July 8. The star-studded evening is hosted by Candyman, and features Stevie B, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Taylor Dayne, Ying Yang Twins, Snap!, Sweet Sensation, Debbie Deb, Pretty Poison and DJ Unk. Candyman was featured backing Tone Loc before earning his own solo stint that produced the chart-topping single “Knockin’ Boots.” Best known for his number-one hit ballad “Because I Love You (The Postman Song),” Stevie B was an influential artist in the freestyle and Hi-NRG dance music scene. Concertgoers will be instantly be transported back to the early 90s when Sir Mix-a-Lot takes the stage to sing his biggest hit, “Baby Got Back.”  From platinum pop songs to chart-topping dance hits, Taylor Dayne is still one of them most recognizable and successful voices in music. She had three number 1 singles in her first two albums with “Tell It To My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back” and “Prove Your Love To Me.” Prepare to dance with the Ying Yang Twins as they sing their popular party hits like “Shake,” “Salt Shaker” and “Get Low.” German group Snap! featuring Turbo B promises to entertain with upbeat dance anthems such as “Rhythm Is A Dancer” and “The Power.” The female trio group Sweet Sensation has enjoyed success on the Billboard pop charts as well as on the dance charts with hits like “If Wishes Came True,” “Love Child” and “I Surrender.” Debbie Deb is best known for her 1980s freestyle dance songs such as “Lookout Weekend” and “When I Hear Music.”  Pretty Poison charted for the first time in 1984 with “Nighttime” and then had a #1 hit dance song with “Catch Me (I’m Falling)”. Atlanta DJ and rapper, DJ Unk will have the audience up and moving to “Walk It Out” and “2 Step.” This epic show on Saturday, July 8, with some of the biggest names from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, is not too be missed!
